WHO'S GONNA SAVE YOU SCREENS AT UNITED NATIONS

As part of the Project Protect Awareness Campaign and in honor of the Rights of Mother Earth and the Rights of Indigenous Peoples and Nations the American Indian Law Alliance, NGO in consultative status with ECOSOC, Seventh Generation Fund for Indian Development and Native Children’s Survival presents the screening of Robby Romero’s music picture, Who's Gonna Save You. A special film message, We Are The Seventh Generation, from Taos Pueblo Day School Students will also be screened followed by a panel discussion led by Indigenous Youth.

The panelists, including 12 year old, Ta’Kaiya Blaney (Sliammon), Chisa Oros (Zuni/Yaqui) and Brian Monongye (Hopi), will address the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples and the Universal Declaration of the Rights of Mother Earth.

Onondaga Elder, Chief Oren R. Lyons will be a part of the panel along with Tonya Gonnella Frichner, also Onondaga. Ms. Gonnella Frichner is President of the American Indian Law Alliance, Chairperson of the Seventh Generation Fund for Indian Development and the past North American Regional Representative to the UNPFII.

On Tuesday night, 21 May 2013, Robby Romero and Ta'Kaiya will perform at the United Nations Cultural Event.
